About Micron Manufacturing

Our deep expertise stems from 30+ years of partnership with clients like you.

For over three decades, Micron Manufacturing has operated with the reputation for excellence in manufacturing precision metal components for the automotive, aerospace, and recreational vehicle industries. A highly competent workforce staffs our 50,000 sq. foot facility in Lagrange, OH, operating state of the art machining and inspection equipment from Germany, Japan, Switzerland, England, Italy and the United States. Brands such as Citizen, Index, Keyence, Kitako, Kummer, Micron, Miyano, Monza, Mori Seiki, Nagel, Nakamura, Takamaz, Taylor Hobson and Tornos make up the majority of our equipment investments.

Our team of machining experts has decades of combined experience with challenging processes. Their work is complemented by an excellent in-house automation group. These groups, in conjunction with our quality department, work to provide competitively priced precision metal components and subassemblies while pursuing the ultimate goal of zero defects.

A large part of our sustained success is attributable to the companies we work with, both suppliers and customers. Over the course of the company’s twenty-plus years, we have developed and strengthened ties with some of the premier manufacturing service providers in the Midwest, and thus, can reliably subcontract multiple processes at competitive rates. We put faith as well in the companies we supply, as we specifically focus on supplying reputable OEM’s in the automotive, recreational vehicle, and general industrial fields, as well as Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive and aerospace industries.

We specialize in high volume contract production, and normally only provide prototyping to complement services for our production customers. We are AS9100D with ISO 9001:2015 certified. As companies continue to source products in the US, we look forward to taking on new challenges as they arise with our customers.

OUR FOCUS: DEMANDING PRODUCTS FOR INNOVATIVE CUSTOMERS

In 1992, Micron was a fledgling job shop in a modest 2,500 square foot space with a Citizen CNC Swiss turning center and a few other pieces of basic equipment. We now pursue challenging new business, seeking and winning bids on parts with multiple, complex geometries. New products continue to require higher precision machining, and to our advantage, we have been achieving these tighter tolerances ahead of the curve. As we master new multi-process components, we aim to continue to grow alongside the firms with which we partner.
